Lour Farms is the trading name of Lour Estate situated in the heart of the county of Angus, Central Scotland, adjacent to the main market town of Forfar.

Lour Estate extends to approx. 2,175ac (880ha) of which 1,900ac (771Ha) is in arable production or grassland. The remaining area is occupied by mixed woodlands & other environmental features.

The fertile land of Angus allows a wide range of quality crops to be grown serving markets within the UK & overseas.

Our main enterprises are high grade Scottish Seed Potatoes, Malting Barley, Other Cereal Crops, & Beef cattle born and raised predominantly on low input grassland.

The farm has a full compliment of modern equipment & infrastructure and is staffed by a dedicated team who place value on attention to detail at all stages of production.
